`Weebo

Conversation between a Weebo and Otaku

Weebo: Kyaaa! Did u liek, c that new episode of ____~? KAWAAIIIIDESUU~!

Otaku: Yeah. It was okay. But it wasn't a new episode...

Weebo: Really?! I'm so baka! Thanks! Aishiteru~! KYAAAA! DESU!!!

Otaku: .... Whatever. Please go away.

Weebo: But I love you desu!!! Aishiteru! Anime!

Otaku: GO. DIE.

Found here: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=weebo
It's hilarious, I've yet to see someone like that in real life though online we sometimes do that intentionally.

I'm definitely not a Weebo, nor an otaku (I think).

Otaku has a more ambiguous meaning. In the past, Otaku meant people obsessed over electronic products, then it is used for people who love anime and manga and now its other meaning is a degradatory term for people obsessed over anime and manga. Maniakku is a less offensive term than otaku.

I used to say that my bunch of animanga friends and I are otakus but it kind of changed when otakus became a term that is targetted to extreme animanga obsession, like the guy who married his Love Plus girlfriend and the guy who married his. Fate (from Nanoha) pillow. Even though I love Sebastian so much, to the point of obsession, I don't think I'll marry him publicly (nor privately!). It's just ... we're living in a different world. These characters are created and not real ^^

Sometimes people feel that Weebo are annoying and are causing their reputation as real Japanese fans to sink but I do feel that it's just a phrase people go through. Remember the time we are so obsessed with certain things that we can't stop talking about it? Yeah, I think of it that way.

I don't think being a Weebo or Otaku is anything to be ashamed about, I do like Japan, animanga or not, and everyone has something they like and are obsessed about. It's just whether how open the people around us are. That's all.

`Songs

This is totally Japanese unrelated but I totally love this guy here!

He's got the looks, the voice and the brains! (his intellectually smart alright!)

The nice background and the girl's really pretty! My latest song craze now!

I was spending the last few days toying with Hayate's Karaoke room. Since she refuses to let me take a photo of the room and upload it here (one day, I really will put the photo here!!)

It's rather like a bar room, with all the red wine and wine glasses.

I guess this is the best google search picture? Minus all the many tables and chairs

And thus, I was singing my voice away. I sound horrible but I'm glad it's sound proof. There were songs in different languages available but obviously, I can only choose English, my Mother Tongue, Japanese. I did try Korean ( "Nobody" plays in the background) but my pronunciation is weird for I had yet to grasp the language well.

I'm lucky that the windows didn't break from my singing.

`I was screamed at afterall

These few days, I was watching Prince of Tennis till 3am. Which lead to everyone in the household to scream at me to go to sleep. But I really want to continue watching! I'm now at Episode 33 which means another 100+ episodes.

I really wished I re-watched it earlier! Maybe, it might help in a particular sport that I play (not tennis but still it's relevant!) I don't think one would really study it when watching for leisure.

Finally, I stopped getting depressed over the weird Kuroshitsuji II ending

`Prince of Tennis

I'm quite in love with it now. Passion renewed?
I'm rewatching the whole series again!

About it

When recommending my friend this great series today, guess what did she say?

"Isn't it that yaoi show?"

Oh dear, so it seems that another friend had been inputting bad thoughts into her head.

`Japanese makeup

Just a short post before I continue uploading my photos of AFA-X

The meidos at AFA X (image does not belong to me)

Although they are not Japanese, they do look Japanese. So how is it done? It's all in the make up and especially the eyes

Let me see....here!

As we all know, Japanese seemed to have flawless skin and big eyes

Eyes

(image is not mine)

With contacts, you can increase the size of your iris, therefore the proportion of your eye to face would be larger.

(image is not mine)

The fake eyelashes do the same job too ^^

See the difference! (image is not mine)

Concealers are used to cover flaws like pimple scars and the likes before foundations are used

(image is not mine)

Lip gloss is used to bring out the fullness of the lips, seductive!

Hope it helps, in cosplay or casual makeup ^^

`AFA X!`

This is such a late post but...

I went to this

Image heavy! Caution!

I really will upload them as quickly as possible!

I wonder if any bb.net members were there >.<
my kuro obsession is getting pretty bad. I just checked that all the animes, dramas and movies that I watched so far are....gore and horror -whistles-

In any case, let me say a few words about AFA-X!

It is fun but this year they implemented this 3 ticket rule!
- $8
- $12
- $15

seriously...that's all for profit...
and no free entry for cosplayers! Someone tell me why hadn't I cosplay last year?

This year seems quite boring? i don't know, it's like...there's nothing much to do? Or maybe I'm too intent on finding Kuroshitsuji stuff, which makes up less than 1% of the merchandise, or even less than 0.0001%, that I get frustrated or something.

There's a vocaloid machine but you have to wait 60mins. Yes, 60mins and they even wrote it there. Hence I didn't play. It's like stepmania or ddr except with your kawaii vocaloids.

Hmm, i see lots of figurine stores but no way am I going to spend money on them. Again.
I'll seriously be hacked if I spend money on them as one can easily cost up to S$200. (there goes my money!)

I do like the dubbing! It's so nice to see seiyuus who pour their heart into their job. it becomes not just a job but a passion, I see her sniffing her tears during the ending of Angel Beats.

Mind block now, shall add more details and photos later~ Ja~
