`AFA X!`

I'm really tired after this...my legs were aching!

However, I am really really glad to meet all my friends in Singapore for this event!
can't blog much now but I will still provide pictures for people who even read this blog!

One funny thing that happened, I was walking with my friends when suddenly someone asked to take a picture of me. I wasn't even cosplaying and I was asked to be photographed?! At first I thought it was a warning that someone was taking photo up ahead and I was blocking!
Maybe my clothes looked like cosplay clothes?

Anyone who wants a pre AFA cover, go here!

`Ciel in wonderland Subs

ere is the link for the English subs that I slaved away on for all you crazy fans out there!!
It's a mediafire link

The subs are out, kindly subbed by SweetMotherOfPie!

This is a .srt file, so you need to already have the RAW video on you.

To get the subtitles to work on VLC Media Player, you just need to go to
Video > Subtitles Track > Open File...
and then select the .srt file.
I'm not sure about other players, though ^^;

The other option is:
When the video is open in VLC player, drag the file (yes, the .srt file) from where you've saved it onto the screen and it should automatically sync. You can fiddle with the size of the subs and stuff in Preferences (ctrl + p) .
-quoted from SweetMotherOfPie

Thank you so much for subbing!

-The subs used is my translation but my Japanese isn't perfect so please understand that I may have some mistakes here and there ^^

Come to think of it...Alois's birthday is the same as my hamsters' 0.0
Lucky hammies, happy birthday nevertheless

Hope Alois had a good time with his new 'mummy' and 'daddy'

`Anime Festival Asia 2010

Konnichiwa minna! Is anyone going for AFA 2010

AFA is an event all about animation and Japan + culture and it is held in the sunny, island of Singapore. It is well into its 3rd year and each year is grander than the last. This year has definitely more things than last year.

In any case, I've packed my suitcase and is preparing to fly (via plane of course) to Sunny Singapore. Afterward, I have to go to the wintery Japan (big climate change!)

Thank you to H for hosting me! I'm looking forwards to meeting my anime/Japan/manga/figurine crazy friends there ;3

`Cosplaying

I decided to do this after discovering many of my friends cosplay too!

What makes a good cosplayer?

1) Spirit!
This is very important! Remember to try to be as much as the character as possible!

2) Make up
You make up can empathsize on your strong facial points and even change your ethnic appearance! If you are cosplaying, normally a fair skin is best but you can use comestics to make your complexion fairer.

3) Wig
Never get those cheap wigs, your hair can do you in!

4) Costume
Tailored made costume is much better than those costumes on the rack, at least it fits you well and is able to compliment you

5) Westerns can cosplay too!
Forget that old age argument that westerns are no match for Asians
She shows you how

Some really nice cosplays!

______________________________________________

Just realised a friend of mine has the same birthday as Toboso-sensei! No wonder she's so smart!

______________________________________________

After watching a show on models and celebrity, I decided to drop that dream T.T
Firstly, I hate it when other people are putting make-up on me or touching my hair. Don't ask me why but that's the way I am.

I have acted before (but don't bother to look for it, kuro-skype-stalkers) but it was fuss-free and quite enjoyable. We were driving around the whole town for location shoots and there's also studio shoots. I really love my co-acting partners and the staff were really helpful. My transportation and food were also fully paid :D
Unlike what was rumoured the more famous stars are stuck-up and all, in actually fact, they were not

This was partly led me to think that acting is a fantastic career but looking at all those excessive hair perming, straightening, make-up, I really doubt so....

BUT BUT, I won't mind filming for Kuroshitsuji the musical 3!!!! (fat hope)

a writing or drawing career seems better, like J.K. Rowling or Toboso Yana
