`Hints in Episode 3

SPOILERS

Sebastian: (reads from the letter) ‘The chilling incident has occurred once more. This time, I shall entrust this case’s “Pawn” and “Behind the screens” to you.’ (ends off letter)

"Pawn" and "Behind the screens" I am not sure what it actually means but it has something to do with the Trancy's.

Margaret: The person who has a pair of golden eyes.

Definitely referring to Claude

Grell: These are all lies! Even the soul that I was supposed to reap has been burnt! This is not possible! Definitely not!

Something that can bypass the death god's reaper book? It's the work of the supernatural and considering it's a soul...

Sebastian: On the Museum’s bookshelf, I found a similar piece of Literature. (hands over the book to Ciel) Actually, before the burning incident of the people, Her Majesty the Queen has an authority action under her control. This is unrelated to the Phantomhive but they are specifically in charge of dealing with the aftermath of the nobilities operations.

Sebastian: Although the Head of the Trancy Household has died three years ago, but now his descendant has succeeded the family property. His is called Earl Trancy.

So Trancy works for the Queen then? But a family that is unrelated to the Phantomhive's....so the Queen has another secret watchdog?

Ciel's eye is still a light blue colour

~~Maybe he is wearing different coloured contacts or the computers of the producers had erased that colour off~~

I think it has something to do with his revival, his soul maybe?

Ciel looked at Grell with trauma in his eyes. An image of the backview of Madam Red materialized.
Ciel: Red…something I had once seen before…red…

It implied that Ciel had lost his memories as he could not recall what it is. And it showed the backview of Madam Red, meaning to say that it is something out of reach, something he cannot remember.

Ciel: And also, please do not tell Madam Red our operations this time. This is the kind of case that that woman likes. Her participation would lead to much trouble for us.
Sebastian: (smirks) That would not be a problem.

Madam Red is dead but Ciel does not know

Actually the one thing that is worth watching was when Margaret was being killed and the preview. I know that this season has all the important elements but I can't stressed on how much "filler" appeared in my head (No, I am aware that there are hints and the episodes are not filler ~~This is the result of me constantly thinking of a blondie)~~

Please watch on, even if this season confuses you! Episode 2 might seemed like a useless episode but if you look carefully, there really is some hidden agenda in it! If you are thinking it is a filler, it is completely fine but please be mindful that much effort is put into this and Kuroshitsuji exists because of its unique style of prompting readers and viewers to find out more on their own!

My Theories

Yes, Ciel is alive, but not physically, if you get what I mean. ~~Side effect for giving the demon your soul~~

Basically I think it could be something that has got to do with Alois or his Father. He is alive but only because his life is given by the ring hence it is keeping him alive, that explains why his eyes are of different colour (kind of like when someone is dying, they are portrayed to be faded).

Since he died, he could have lost some memories or that Sebastian altered it so that he forgets some things, like Lau's betrayal and also Madam Red's death. Notice how Sebastian remembers Grell (he first met Grell with Madam Red) yet Ciel does not remember. Neither does Ciel remembers death gods. Yet, Ciel seemed to remember that Madam Red has died...with Grell having a part in it

Besides, he does not know about the Trancy's so only Alois knows him? Claude and Sebastian seems acquited yet there is hatred between them. Claude even knows Sebastian's human name and Sebastian knows Claude's tagline.

A fire that can destroy souls that even deathgod can't control? What is Claude? Sebastian seemed to have the answer.

THE HANGED MAN

A man hanging by one foot from a Tau cross - sometimes from a bar or tree. His free leg is always bent to form a "4," his face is always peaceful, never suffering. Sometimes his hands are bound, sometimes they dangle. Sometimes coins fall out of his pockets or hands.

Basic Tarot Story The Fool settles beneath a tree, intent on finding his spiritual self. There he stays for nine days, without eating, barely moving. Basic Tarot Meaning With Neptune (or Water) as its planet, the Hanged Man is perhaps the most fascinating card in the deck. With the World card you go infinitely out. With the Hanged Man, you go infinitely in. This card signifies a time of insight so deep that, for a moment, nothing but that insight exists. All Tarot readers have such moments when we see, with absolute clarity, the whole picture, the entire message offered by a spread. The Hanged Man symbolizes such moments of suspension between physical and mystical worlds. Such moments don't last, and they usually require some kind of sacrifice. Sacrifice of a belief or perspective, a wish, dream, hope, money, time or even selfhood. In order to gain, you must give. Sometimes you need to sacrifice cherished positions, open yourself to other truths, other perspectives in order to find solutions, in order to bring about change. One thing is certain, whether the insight is great or small, spiritual or mundane, once you have been the Hanged Man you never see things quite the same.
